Arthur Seyss-Inquart (German: Seyß-Inquart), born Artur Zajtich (Stannern, 22 July 1892 – Nuremberg, 16 October 1946), was an Austrian jurist and Nazi politician. He initially belonged to the 'moderate' wing of the Austrian Nazis, but, as Reich Commissioner of the Netherlands in the Netherlands occupied by Nazi Germany, he developed into one of the leading figures of the regime.
