Biography:
Rod Blackhurst is an American filmmaker known for his work in horror, crime, and documentary. He made his narrative feature debut with Here Alone, which won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, and co-directed the acclaimed Netflix documentary Amanda Knox. His later credits include Blood for Dust (2023), Dolly (2026), and Hedges. He also co-developed the story for Blumhouse's Night Swim (2024), adapted from the short film he created with Bryce McGuire.
